Difference between insulated and non insulated door

A fire insulated door and a fire door without insulation are both designed to resist the spread of fire and smoke, but they differ in their ability to retain heat and prevent the transfer of heat from one side of the door to the other.

In fire insulated door we put mineral fiber wool and Puff between doors so to resist heat to get transfer other side.

Where as in non insulated doors we put honeycomb paper that is also called non fire rated metal doors.

In wooden insulated doors we have mineral fiber wool and calcium silicate board.Then door can be made as fire rated door.

Where as without insulation doors are called non fire rated wooden doors.
