Why panic bar needed in emergency

The term "panic bar" comes from the fact that the device is designed to be easily activated by someone in a state of panic or emergency like fire case. A panic bar is a type of door lock that is designed to allow people to quickly exit a building in case of an emergency, such as a fire or a security threat or earthquake.

The panic bar is typically located on the inside of a door and consists of a horizontal bar that extends across the width of the door. When pressure is applied to the bar, it releases the lock and allows the door to open. This design allows people to quickly and easily exit a building without having to fumble with a traditional lock or handle.

Panic bar does not have any lock from inside but still you can not open door from outside.

Panic bars are commonly used in public buildings, such as schools, hospitals, and office buildings, commercial malls as well as in some residential buildings. They are an important safety feature that can help to prevent injuries and save lives in the event of an emergency.

Panic bar can also be opened with pressure of public evacuation at the time of stampede. For more blogs click on
